Life as a busy working mom does not leave a lot of time, or sometimes room in the budget, for self-care. We’ve been hearing plenty recently about how important it is to fill our own cups before we can really care for others. Us moms deserve some pampering and we can do that with the help of Groupon.
How Groupon helps me simplify life
I previously mentioned all the wonderful Groupon deals I have purchased in the past for fun new experiences (such as horseback riding and painting classes) and for “adulting” necessities (like tax preparation).
I also use Groupon to help me survive and simplify the day to day life. Just the other day, I bought a Groupon for a house cleaning. This Groupon purchase is a double win because I saved money on house cleaning and I don’t have to do it myself. Which means spending more time playing with my toddler, and less time chasing him around with a broom or vacuum.
I also like to simplify life and find local Health, Beauty & Wellness Groupons. No matter how busy life gets, there are certain self-care tasks that we can’t ignore for too long. Getting a regular haircut is one of them. And if you’ve started going gray early, like me, you gotta get those roots fixed up so you still look professional at work. Might as well find a good Groupon to use while you’re taking care of yourself, and take care of your wallet, too.
