I am enjoying interviewing professionals about their line of work or their side hustles. Today I am sharing an interview about Book Bolt, a software that helps you create low content books to sell on KDP.
Make Low-Content Books to sell on Amazon KDP
Can you tell us about Book Bolt and what service you provide?
Book Bolt is a software that helps cover every part of the book publishing process on KDP for low content sellers. There is a webinar going over the basics with videos that go over each module.
The tool is designed to help publishers from doing research to figure out what customers on Amazon are buying, to figuring out what keywords they should be using to optimize your listings (and see how many searches per month they are getting on Amazon), to help with picking categories, listing products on Amazon faster, and designing interiors and covers.
The tool essentially helps people with every single step of the process.
What is a KDP business and how does someone interested get started?
KDP stands for Kindle Direct Publishing and is an arm of Amazon that allows people to self publish books on Amazon. In order to get started, you can simply sign-up for a KDP account and have your first book uploaded in under 10 minutes with some free resources.
What is a low content book?
A low content book is simply a book that does not have any written stories inside. Think of it as a journal or diary (with lined pages), a tracker or a blank recipe book that a customer would fill with their own recipes.
How does Book Bolt help a user create a low content book? How quickly can someone create a book for sale using Book Bolt?
A creator can create a book using Book Bolt in only a few minutes using our drag and drop designer. Books consist of 2 parts, the cover, and the interior.
Users can pick from these interiors that we give away for free as well as some premium ones inside of the software. Creating the cover is as simple as opening up the designer, dragging and dropping text and image elements, and downloading them. From there, you can upload those directly to Amazon KDP.

Any words of advice or encouragement for someone wanting to get started?
Unlike a lot of other print on demand sites, uploading to books to KDP is straight forward and quick. There is no barrier to entry and there are publishers earning 6 figures a year JUST from these types of books.
Here is a great example:
No long stories, no spending a ton of time and money on design. Simply low content books that the end customer can fill out themselves!
