Benefits of Knowing Your Seasonal Colors | Fab Working Mom Life #momfashion #fashion #workingmom

guestpost

The concept of Seasonal Color Analysis began with a woman named Suzanne Caygill. Suzanne figured out that every human being is created with an individualized design, color and form that is related to Nature and the Seasons. The pigments of hair, skin, and eyes unlock the unique relationship to one of Nature’s color harmonies.

As a busy working mom, you may be asking, “Why do I need to know my Seasonal Colors?”

Let us share with you just a few of the many benefits that come from this wonderful service.

  1. Knowing your Seasonal Colors saves you money.

When you know your Seasonal Colors, your closet is full of clothing you constantly wear! You get much more wear and use out of the clothes that are in your colors. You don’t waste money on things that hang in your closet, never worn.

When you choose clothes that are in harmony with you, even a handful of clothes is worth more than a closet full of clothes that don’t relate to you.

When you know your colors, you can shop anywhere! You can save tons of money buying t-shirts at Target – or get fabulous designer clothes at consignment shops or Goodwill stores.

Benefits of Seasonal Color Analysis

  1. Knowing your Seasonal Colors saves you time.

Let’s face it, by the time you get the kids dressed and fed, there’s not a lot of time left for getting yourself ready and out the door. But when you have clothing in your colors, it’s so easy to throw outfits together with confidence. The colors are harmonious with each other and with you – and you look and feel terrific in them.

When you know your colors, shopping is a breeze. You go in, you pick what’s right for you, and you buy it. Many of our clients don’t even have to try things on. They know what looks fabulous on them and they grab it and go. If there’s nothing in the store for you, you’re out in a flash.

Benefits of Seasonal Color Analysis

  1. Wearing your Seasonal Colors makes you look FABULOUS.

When the colors are right, they make you look healthy. You glow, spark, feel powerful, rested, confident, trustworthy, attractive. Because all of your colors are keyed to you, they effortlessly support you emotionally, physically and psychologically.

When you’ve been up all night with a sick baby, wearing your Skin Tone will make you look rested. When you need people to listen to you at work, your Formal Neutral will lend you authority. When you’re needing to make a point, wearing your Eye Color gives you credibility.

As one client said, “Even when I’m feeling stressed, my colors give me energy and support me. They make me feel great on the inside, while I’m looking great on the outside.”

Once you know your Seasonal Colors and wear them, most of the work is done. You look fabulous (even without makeup). You have credibility. You feel at home in your clothes. Done!

Cathy and Joan - Seasonal Color AnalysisJoan Kosmachuk

Seasonal Color & Style Consulting

Joan Kosmachuk had her first experience with Seasonal Color when she had her colors done by “Color Me Beautiful” in the 1980’s. Dissatisfied with that experience, she tried Tonal Color Analysis about 10 years ago and dabbled in some training in that area—but again felt disappointed in the results. More recently she met Cathy and discovered the secrets to true Seasonal Color Analysis and, being a Spring, she hasn’t stopped learning about it or talking about it since. Joan has completed training with The StyleCore Institute and Image and Color International. Seasonal Color and Style is her newfound passion and she loves helping people find theirs!

Cathy Williams

Seasonal Color & Style Consultants

Cathy Williams had her first experience with Seasonal Color Consultation when she had her Colors done by Suzanne Caygill in the early 1980’s. From then, until now, she has been obsessed with the topic. Cathy graduated from both The StyleCore Institute and Image and Color Institute International, but received the majority of her training from Lois Marlow-Scott, Suzanne’s longtime assistant. Lois was Cathy’s beloved mentor and teacher. When Lois passed away in 2017, she entrusted Cathy with her entire Color Lab, which holds thousands upon thousands of highly curated fabric swatches. Cathy uses these swatches (and more) to create beautifully customized Color Harmonies.
