Ah winter, the season of cold (well, depends on where you live), lots of holidays, and family time. There’s so much celebrating, some of us are avoiding stressful large family gatherings (right? especially this year), and opting for a more cozy home time that’s relaxed. Technically winter doesn’t start until almost Christmas but we pretty much celebrate winter at the start of December.

Fun Winter Holidays and Christmas Activities
- Decorate for Christmas
- Shop local and small
- Take a trip to the snow if you don’t live where it snows
- If it does snow: go sledding
- Go ice skating
- Build a snowman (if it doesn’t snow, make a sensory snowman with fake snow)
- Snowball fight
- Do Christmas STEM crafts
- Design your holiday cards
- Watch classic holiday movies in your new holiday pajamas
- Do a fizzy Christmas tree activity
- Make snowflakes
- Find a Santa statue to take a picture with
