How to play bingo with cards
How to play Bingo with kids? Use printable cards to enjoy bingo games with your kids. Playing bingo for kids is a great way to practice listening skills, self-regulation, and learn hand-eye coordination. Toddlers and preschoolers can learn to listen for the picture called and match it on their bingo card.
You play bingo by giving each player a unique bingo card, and a pile of chips or anything you want to use to cover up the square that was called. Then one person is the caller and pulls a calling card (number or a picture in this case). The players locate the item called on their bingo card and cover it up.
The object of bingo is to cover up the squares that correspond to the winning shape. Here are some bingo game scorecard options:
- Diagonal Line from left top to bottom right or from right top to bottom left
- Horizontal Line
- Vertical Line
- Blackout (all squares covered) – good only if not all possible shapes are on each card
- or a Specific Shape (inner square or an “X” for example)
How do you win at bingo? You cover up the correct set of squares, and yell out “BINGO” to announce your win.
Items you can use to cover the squares:
- Chocolate kisses – and players can eat them!
- Plastic chips
- Buttons
- Coins
- Bingo daubers markers – these are washable

The Easter Bingo game free printable pack comes with 8 different game boards (meaning up to 8 players). I would recommend printing the free printable Easter bingo cards on thicker paper like cardstock.
Since printing in ink is not super cheap, I would suggest placing each bingo card in a clear sheet protector. This way you can reuse the bingo boards and play again.
The printable also comes with 24 calling cards for the caller to hold up as they are naming the shape picture. With 24, that means each card will have all the picture options, but in a different order.
You can cut these out and place them in a box or basket. Make it fun by using an Easter basket!
