What is Amazon Prime Day and how does it work?

Amazon Prime Day 2022 is an exclusive shopping event for Amazon Prime subscribers. Prime members can get huge deals and savings on Amazon devices and products like kitchen appliances, TVs, vacuums, electronic accessories, clothing, toys, and more.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2022?

Prime Day 2022 starts on Tuesday, July 12, and ends on Wednesday, July 13. The start and end times are around midnight Pacific time. However, many sales start early to get you in the shopping mood.

How do you prepare for Amazon Prime Day deals?

Think about what you actually need – down to the details of specs and features. That way you’ll know whether the Prime Day deal will fit your needs, or if you’ll be willing to compromise specs for prices.

Browse around the Amazon Prime Day website for ideas. If you have Alexa, you can get early access to deals.

Also install Amazon Assistant browser extension to help you search for the best deals.

You can get extra rewards if you use your Amazon Prime Visa card, so that might be something to consider applying for. For Prime Day 2022, Amazon is offering a $200 Amazon Gift Card upon approval.

Personally, this is the time I look for the heavy hitter deals. It’s not really worth the time to save a couple or handful of dollars on an item that is already pretty low priced. What you’re really after during these sales are the big-ticket items are hugely discounted only during these sales.
