I’m trying to get healthier, and I’m reading this book called Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.
One of the best things about generally getting and feeling healthier is more energy, which is one of my goals during this journey! During quarantine, having all of us home, we’ve been walking a lot. We started with just trying to walk a mile a day and now we’re up to three miles a day! I couldn’t have done it a month ago, and now I’m finding more energy to push myself further and keep going.
I also admit with everyone home keeping up with a routine has not been easy. We have more cheat days than not, but I do see immediate results on a day when I follow the plan compared to days when I do not. This tells me following the diet described in this book will be sustainable, and something I can always return to even when life derails me a bit.
I love the recipe ideas in this book. Such delicious and so many are easy to make meals. The desserts are gorgeous, you simply must check the recipes out in this book.
I also love that this eating plan makes carbs a-OK – since I definitely enjoy them and it is hard to cut them out as other diets require.
