At the end of a long day, sometimes the last thing you want to do is whip up a fancy meal. But that doesn’t mean your taste buds need to suffer! Time to spice things up with some simple marinades from Personal Creations that pack a punch when it comes to flavor.
Marinating chicken is a simple, effective way to give the poultry amazing flavor and perfect moisture. Using only 4 ingredients, you can whip up a marinade in no time!
- Combine all ingredients together and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine marinade and chicken in a plastic bag or covered glass dish.
- Refrigerate the container for the suggested length of time or up to 12 hours.
- Remove chicken from marinade and allow excess to drip before cooking.
Herb Marinades
Cilantro Lime –– marinade for 30+ minutes
- 4 limes freshly squeezed
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cilantro (chopped)
- 2 cloves minced garlic
Lemon Rosemary –– marinade for 1+ hour
- ¼ cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ? cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp dried rosemary
- 2 cloves minced garlic
Basil – marinade for 1+ hour
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ cup chopped basil
Sweet Marinades
Balsamic –– marinade for 30+ minutes
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ? cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
BBQ –– marinade for 1+ hour
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup sweet BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
Honey Mustard –– marinade for 1+ hour
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- ½ cup dijon mustard
- 1 clove minced garlic
Spicy Marinades
Cajun Spice –– marinade for 30+ minutes
- 3 tbsp white vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun spice seasoning
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper
Chipotle –– marinade for 1+ hour
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp adobo sauce
- 2 cloves minced garlic
Indian Spice –– marinade for 6+ hours
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp vinegar-based hot sauce
Beverage Marinades
Root Beer –– marinade for 1+ hour
- 12 oz root beer
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- ¼ cup soy sauce
Wine –– marinade for 1+ hour
- 1 cup red wine
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 diced shallot
Orange Juice –– marinade for 4+ hours
- ½ pulp-free orange juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 clove minced garlic
