As mothers, we know parenting can be stressful. We love our children, but they can be a handful and can cause stress, anxiety, and restlessness. There is a solution, and it’s quite surprising: you need to adopt another child.
This child won’t be like your other kids. It comes with four legs, fur, and requires no potty training. We’re talking about getting a cat!
Cats can offer companionship for your children, should they be old enough to handle one. Cats come with a variety of positive health effects. You may not see it at first, but your feline companion can reduce stress, help you sleep better at night, and make you happier – this all is backed by science.
Don’t believe me? Check out this infographic below to see why cats are the purrfect companions. And if you have room for one, head to your local shelter and adopt one today. If you’d like to see more of the nitty-gritty details, check out Catological for the original infographic and article!

Awww I love this! I once told my husband I’d give up my wish for a third baby if I could trade that for two kittens instead. 🙂

I love this! I’ve always been a cat person, and since Hubs and I got married, I’ve been without a cat (his mom is allergic, and now we have dogs and small crazy children). I really miss having a cat sit on me and purr, and a cat never kept me up at night like one of our dogs did last night!

I often think about trading in my non cat family members for actual cats. So much easier lol
