Who else loves paper plate crafts? Raise your hand! I sure do! We haven’t done any paper plate crafts in a while so I am getting the bug to get into making some more. We’re especially looking forward to making some more paper plate animal crafts for kids!

Keep reading for a great roundup of paper plate animal crafts you can do with your toddlers and preschoolers.

Paper Plate Animal crafts for kids

Let’s start this list with my cute Paper Plate Spider! We made this craft because my toddler was obsessed with the Itsy Bitsy Spider Song! Great for some fine motor skills to tear paper and fold.

I also have a Paper Plate Kitty Cat craft we made as a card for Grandparents Day when my parents visited.

These Paper Plate Parrots  by Artsy Craftsy Mom are adorable. I love how bright and rainbowy this craft is. My son will love it!

Paper Plate Turkeys by Crafty Morning combines paper plate crafting with tissue paper and is perfect for Thanksgiving or any time.

The Paper Plate Turtles by Just One Mommy makes me happy because the Honu (sea turtle) is my spirit animal and I’ve always loved turtles.

Paper Plate Cows by Housing a Forrest is easy and cute and also good for cutting or tearing paper.

This Paper Plate Peacocks by Toddling in the Fast Lane is quite pretty and is a fun process art letting the toddler paint.

Paper Plate Raccoons by Glued to My Crafts is another cute craft using paper plates with tissue paper. Lots of great cutting too.

I like these Paper Plate Whales by In the Play Room because you can color the entire paper plate (which my toddler loves to do) and then cut and craft.

Super cute Paper Plate Crabs by Oh My Creative using clothespins and other accessories with the paper plate craft.

Wow this Paper Plate Lions by Kids Activities Blog is gorgeous. I love how the lion’s mane is cut.

Paper Plate Animal from the Muppets by Crafts by Amanda is a bit advanced with the gorgeous way the hairs are done.

Paper Plate Baby Farm Animals by Mess for Less is great because there are multiple farm animal crafts to try!

Paper Plate Birds by It Happens in a Blink is cute and includes a feather!

I love how cute these Paper Plate Bunnies by A Cultivated Nest are – perfect paper plate craft for Easter!

Paper Plate Sheep by Housing a Forest is adorable and I love the use of shredded paper!

Paper Plate Orca by Crafts on Sea is a great way to talk about seal life and make a lovely whale.
